To make onla, first heat the kadai and add mustard oil. Let it warm up.
10 ml Mustard oil
Add onion to the heated oil after cumin seeds have been added and have started to spark.
5 gm Cumin seeds, 1 cup Onion
When the onion begins to turn golden brown, add the chicken, stir everything together, and cook it.
250 gm Local chicken
After the chicken has been thoroughly combined with all of the ingredients add turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, chili paste, and salt.
5 gm Turmeric powder, 5 gm Chilli paste, 5 gm Garlic, 10 gm Ginger, Salt
The chicken is allowed to cook for 15 minutes after adding water.
After adding a little more water in between, the chicken is left to cook for a while.
Then add khar to the chicken curry and let it cook for a while, rice powder is gradually added to the curry.
1 cup Kalkhar, 2 cups Rice powder
Once the onla is ready add chopped coriander leaves to the curry.
Serve this delicious onla with steamed rice.
